Chairman of Council of Ministers Receives Head of EU Delegation in BIH

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Nikola Špirić received in Sarajevo today Head of Delegation of the European Union in BIH and Special Representative of EU in BIH Ambassador Peter Sorensen. 

The interlocutors discussed the preparations for a meeting devoted to IPA programming coordination for 2012, to be held in Sarajevo on November 14, in organisation of the Directorate for European Integrations and European Commission.

Chairman Špirić stressed that at today’s session, the Council of Ministers of BIH tasked all competent Ministers to respond to his invitation to this meeting and to take an active part in the decision making process concerning the IPA programming for 2012.

In the view of difficulties that followed the IPA programming process for 2011, Chairman Špirić reiterated a need for strengthening of coordination, which implies an active participation of all concerned parties in the IPA programming process.
