Chairman of Council of Ministers Receives Head of World Bank Office in B-H

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H dr Nikola Špiirć received today in Sarajevo Head of Office of the World Bank in Bosnia and Herzegovina Marco Mantovanelli. 

They assessed that no problems were encountered in the implementation of USD 322.2 million worth 14 on-going World Bank projects in B-H meet no problems.

Chairman Špirić assessed that it would be very important to preserve a good rate of loan placement and effectiveness.

Mantovanelli said that the World Bank funds for Projects in B-H will continue to be approved under concessive IDA conditions.

Chairman Špirić informed the World Bank official of yesterday's session of the Fiscal Council of B-H and its attempts to arrive at a general consent over the Budget Framework.

The Head of the Wold Bank Office in B-H was interested of prospects for  formation the Government, in view of the preparations for a new strategy of cooperation of this financial institution and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Chairman Špirić informed Mantovanelli of his views of the political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
