Chairman talks with President of Croatia Grabar-Kitarović

Chairman o of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Vjekoslav Bevanda met today with President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar –Kitarović. 

Chairman Bevanda congratulated her victory at the presidential elections, wishing a success in her work. He said that BIH and Croatia are two friendly countries with shared interests, and thanked for Croatia’s support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on tis road to the European Union.

President Grabar-Kitarović said Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are the first neighbours, and that she is pleased for paying her first official call rightly to Bosnia and Herzegovina. She said she came to send out a message of friendship, good neighbourly relations and cooperation between the two countries, announcing continued commitment to the Euro-Atlantic path of BIH.

Chairman Bevanda informed President Grabar-Kitarović of the current process of establishment of authorities at all levels, and expressed his hope that the process will be completed soon. He said that BIH is a country with a lot of unused capacities and that it is necessary to continue regional cooperation, in order to advance economic cooperation and revive entrepreneurship.

The meeting was attended by BIH Ambassador in the Republic of Croatia Azra Kalajdžisalihović.
