Chairman Zvizdić at Opening of Young Entrepreneurs Summit and 2019 BOSP-EXPO International Fair in Brčko

Chairman Zvizdić said that in addition to numerous business fora and economic fairs taking place throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, this project has a special relevance and gives a new dimension to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it is about junior entrepreneurs, future engines and economic leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
He expressed his pleasure for the Your Entrepreneurs Summit will gather around 300 young entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, to sept-up regional network of young entrepreneurs.
He underlined the importance of SMEs for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which represent a backbone of our country’s economy. He added that activities of small and medium enterprises are key to ensuring the economic growth, innovations, job generation and suppression of young people leaving the BIH and the region, because out of the total number of employees in BIH, SMEs account for more than 90 per cent of business companies, employing about 64 per cent of work force. Chairman Zvizdić said that young entrepreneurs should be ensured the proper infrastructure for their start-ups enabling them to enlarge and grow, adding that a task to find a long-term solution through models that will bring about more favourable and sustainable entrepreneurship leis before all of us.
He pointed that the development of digitalisation-led new economic and business models may help young entrepreneurs in BIH as well as in the region.
“We are at the doorsteps of the fourth industrial revolution which will fundamentally change the way we live and work and connection to each other, it will change our work environment, entrepreneurship, and public and private sector management”, said Chairman Zvizdić in his address. Chairman Zvizidć wished to all participants, young entrepreneurs, a lot of luck in their endeavours, adding his best wishes for today’s fair to be successful and contributing to our common goal, strengthening of entrepreneurship and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s economy.
Following his address, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić, together with Brčko District of BIH Mayor Siniša Milić, High Representative Valentin Intzko, and President of the MMP LUX Steering Board Krustian Marić, opened the International Fair of Entrepreneurship BOS-EXPO 2019.
