Chairman Zvizdić Calls on Endorsement of Economic Reforms Agenda

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvzdić called upon representatives of all-level authorities in BIH to make good on their promises and on Thursday, June 11, as announced, sign the economic reform agenda, created based on proposals and agreements among the Entity Governments, Brčko District and Council of Ministers of BIH, with support of the European Commission and international financial institutions. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers remains fully committed to its key priorities, namely the European way of BIH and improvement of business environment and competitiveness, stressing:

“The economic reforms agenda, defied in a form of working document at a meeting on Jahorina, which is now developed into a final document, based on BIH commitments under the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement and Agreement for Labour and Employment, will enable us to put our natural and human resources into the function of economic development of BIH. This way, economy would be the focus, as the most important factor for a breakthrough in the European integrations process, in addition to its role in improvement of BIH citizens’ living standard.

Against this background, I call upon representatives of all authorities to come to the  meeting Thursday, where we will be joined by European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Accession Negotiations  Johannes Hahn, to sign together the economic reforms agenda.
