Chairman Zvizdić in Talks with Minister Bushati Proposes BIH-Albania Business Forum

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked i Sarajevo with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania on bilateral relations and promotion of regional cooperation. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed Minister Bushati on reform processes in BIH and progressing along the European Integrations way. Her stressed the commitment of BIH for deepening regional cooperation and joint project development, as the relations between the two states have been strengthened though regional initiatives, and shared Euro-Atlantic priorities, as well.  He emphasised the interest of BIH for boosting economic cooperation and proposed holding of a joint Business Forum to gather businessmen to present the potentials of both BIH and Albania. Minister Bushati said the bilateral relations are good, friendly and without outstanding issues, which would burden the promotion of cooperation at all areas of joint interest, especially in economy. Welcoming the idea on holding the joint Business Form, he said such projects should be worked on, as their end result will benefit citizens of both states. He said that the interest of Albania is the improvement of regional cooperation through the Regional Cooperation Council ((RCC) and Western Balkans Fund, as well as cooperation in the European integrations process.

Chairman Zvizdić said the two countries are connected by strong, organised minority communities living in both countries, which represents an important element for the promotion of their relations. In regard to that, he was interested for regulation of the status of Bosnian minority living in Albania.
