Chairman Zvizdić Talks with Greek Foreign Minister Kotzias

Chairman Zvizdić informed Minister Kotzias of the firm European commitment of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said that over the last three months the Council of Ministers of BIH adopted by a consensus over 500 different documents and expressed expectations that taking on under such dynamics, Bosnia and Herzegovina might soon fill a credible application for membership in the EU.
Minister Kotzias said that Greece sees BIH in the EU and that it is ready to offer all possible technical and expert support for intensified European integrations of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The exchanged their views of bilateral relations of the two countries. It was emphasised that the political relations are excellent, but not followed by the same level of economic exchange, and certain modalities were discussed for the improvement of economic relations between BH and Greece.
Chairman Zvizdić said that without political stability it is not possible to have economic development either. He pointed at intensification of cooperation in the region and activation of MAP, as two significant preconditions for BIH to create a more favourable business climate for investors and improve overall economic situation.
Minister Kotzias expressed a full support of Greece to NATO aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that Greece wants to see improvement in BIH, as it would reflect positively to the whole region.
Conveying regards of Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsiprias, Minister Kotzias used the opportunity to wish to Chairman Zvizdić and Muslim believers in Bsonia and Herzegovina the up-coming Ramadan Bajram. (end)
