Chairman Zvizdić Talks with President of the CoE Congress Frecon

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met with President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe Jean-Claude Frecon, who said that he enjoys excellent cooperation with the BIH Delegation at the Congress. 

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to President Frecon for the assistance he extends to BIH during his chairmanship. They discussed about local responses to population migration challenges, including on human rihgts protection.

Chairman Zvizdić informed President Frecon of the current political developments in BIH, as well as on BIH progress on tis way towards het European Union.

They discussed the strategies adopted earlier by the Council of Ministers. President Frecon said that the Congress is ready to extend assistance so that the Strategy on Prevention and Fight against Corruption might be translated into actions; he said that they are ready to assist also in the on-going judiciary reform.

“Transfer of positive experiences and know-how is something that is extremely needed for our country, and your rich and long-year experience is very important to us.“, Chaiman Zvizidć stated during the meeting.
