Chairman Zvizdić talks with QBA Chairman

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH met in Doha with Chairman of the Qatar Businessmen Association (QBA) Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed Sheikh Thani on the current political-economic developments in BIH, with a special emphasis on the reform processes and European road of BIH. He stressed that these connected processes, directed to accelerating economic development of BIH and improvement of living standard of citizens. He informed the QBA Chairman of the economic indicators of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which shows a continuous up-ward trend as of the last two years. He invited the Chairman of the Qatar economic Chamber to invite and support Qatari businessmen to visit BIH and get informed of its investment potentials.

Chairman Zvizdić commended today’s Business Forum, which takes place in Doha, in the organisation of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce, to be attended also by a delegation of businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which accompanies the Delegation of the Council of Ministers of BIH.  He stressed that such B2B meetings of businessmen are the best incubators of business ideas and generators of new development projects.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BIH Mriko Šarović, Minister of foreign Affairs of BIH Igor Crnadak, Minister of Civil Affairs of BIH Adil Osmanović, Minister of Communications of Transport of BIH Ismir Jusko, FIPA Director Goran Milinić, president of the Foreign Trade chamber of BIH Ahmet Egrlić, and Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the State of Qatar Tarik Sadović.

Following the meeting, chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani escorted the Delegation of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Delegation of businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina in sightseeing his private museum, one of the major world collection of historic artefacts.
