Chairman Zvizdić with Ambassador Sattler

Wishing him welcome and satisfaction for Bosnia and Herzegovina will have on the head of the most important international institution in BIH will have a person very knowledgeable of the state of affairs on the Western Balkans: He said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to the European and NATO road, adding that further integration to the most relevant economic and social Union at global level is un questionable and consistent.
Chairman Zvizdić said that during his term in office, the European integrations were set and continuously promoted as one of the most important aims and priorities of the incumbent Council of Ministers. He expressed his satisfaction that the priorities referred by Ambassador Sattler in his first address, namely, rule f law, strengthening of judiciary independence, socio-economic reforms and further public administration reform, coincide with the priorities dealt with by the Council of Ministers over the past four and a half years.
They also discussed the migrant crisis in BIH, on which occasion Chairman Zvizdić thanked for the support the European Union extended to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the previous period of time in this segment, and informed the Ambassador of yesterday’s work-consultative meeting of the Council of Ministers of BIH members with heads of responsible state security-intelligence and police agencies, which considered the current situation.
“We do remain a reliable partner in promoting the European road and fulfilment of all the tasks ahead for Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Chairman Zvizdić said at the meeting.
Ambassador Johann Sattler is Head of Delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Hezregovina and Special Representative of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina as of September 1, 2019.
