Chairman Zvizdić with Delegation of CoE Monitoring Committee: Stability as Precondition for Serious Investments

The CoE Delegation pays visit to BIH so as to prepare a progress report on Bosnia and Herzegovina in its EU integration process. They were interested for implementation of aims form the reform agenda and on overall reform processes on BIH’s way to the EU.
Chairman Zvizdić informed the visitors of the current activities taken by the Council of ministers of BIH; and stressed that a serious progress has been made within a short period of time in terms of adoption of documents relevant for BIH’s way to the EU. He said that the Council of Ministers unanimously adopted 750 documents in the field of rule of law, EU integrations and economic reforms. He said that over 40 % of reform agenda measures have been realised and that all planned strategies were adopted, accompanied by related implementation action plans, such as Anti-Corruption Strategy, Strategy Combating Terrorism and All Forms of Extremism, Strategy for Fight against Domestic and Violence against Women, and Strategy for Fight Against Money-Laundering.
Chairman Zvizdić said that there is a full determination for the European Integrations and that BIH stands ready for reform implementation to improve general environment, create space for foreign investments and cerate jobs, underlining that the stability is a precondition for all serious investments.
The meeting was attended by Sir Roger Gale from Great Britain and Caroliine Ravaud, Head of Monitoring division of the Council of Europe Parliamentarian Assembly.
