Chairman Zvizdić with People’s Republic of China Ambassador

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received in Sarajevo Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in BIH Ping Ji, with whom he discussed the current economic and political situation in BIH. 

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Ji agreed that BIH and People’s Republic of China have friendly relations, which should be improved in the period to come. They said the economic cooperation is in an up-ward trend and that there is a considerable space for promotion thereof in all segments.

They touched upon the up-coming Ministers of Transport and Communications Summit to take place in by the end of this year in Sarajevo within the 17+1 cooperation, and emphasised that the infrastructure development is the most important economic development aim of the region as a whole. They expressed their confidence that the construction of Block 7 Thermal Power Plant Tuzla, will start soon, as it is relevant for the energy stability of BIH.

Ambassador Ji concluded that the relations between the two countries are getting improved in all fields, especially in the area of tourism, indicating that the number of tourist in the first half of this year reached the number of Chinese tourists in BIH during the whole last year.

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Ji expressed their expectations that the successful cooperation and high quality partnership would continue in the coming period of time, based on mutual understanding and respect.
