Chairman Zvizdić with President of Malaysian Senate

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Sarajevo today with President of the Senate of Malaysia Dato Sri Sa Vigneswaran on the improvement of bilateral relations. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that the relations of the two friendly countries are without outstanding issues. He informed President of the Senate of Malaysia on priorities of the Council of Ministers of BIH and progressing of our country towards the EU, which makes BIH increasingly integrated into a single European market. He stressed that there is a lot of space for the improvement of economic cooperation of the two countries, especially now when BIH experiences an accelerated economic growth and marks the most positive economic indicators of the region.

President f the Senate Vigneswaran congratulated to Chairman Zvizdić for the European success of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and conveyed him regards from Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak. He said there is a strong interest of the Malaysian side for the improvement of economic tries, as Malaysia sees BIH as a door of the European Union Market, while Malaysia may open the door of ASEAN market.

Chairman Zvizdić said the economic development of BIH is one of key priorities in activities of the Council of Ministers of BIH. He said that the focus is on job creation and youth employment, in order to create the ambience diverting them from leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina abroad. He also said that BIH has many comparative advantages interesting to investorsi9n sectors of transport infrastructure, agriculture, energy, metal and wood industry, and tourism, and invited Malaysian businessman to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to the people of Malaysia for a continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina, and sent an invitation to Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina.
