Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizidć received in a farewell call Head of the European Union Delegation in BIH and Special Representative of the European Union in BIH Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark. They discussed the current political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the most important foreign policy aim of Bosnia and Herzegovina – continuation along the road to the European Union. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is opted to the European road, emphasising that it is important to secure in the coming period of time  necessary conditions for the entry to the European Union, which would improve the economic prospective to our country. Chairman Zvizdić briefed Ambassador Wigemark of the level of preparation of the Action Plan for realisation of 115 priorities listed in the European Commission Analytical Report, saying that the relevant document is in the final stage and that the Directorate for European Integrations finalises it, in cooperation with all-level institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Wigemark agreed about the necessity to step up formation of authorities, in order to continue reforms, relevant to all citizens of BIH.

Ambassador Wigemark congratulated to successfully realised activities over the past period of time, and expressed his confidence that Bosnia and Herzegovina would continue progressing on the European integrations road.

Chairman Zvizdić wished toe Ambassador Wigemark future personal and professional success. The meeting was attended by Khaldoun Sinno, Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation in BIH.
