Chairwoman Krišto at Growth Plan Regional Summit

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto stays in Skoplje at a Growth Plan Regional Summit, featuring leaders of the region counties. The regional leaders and European representatives discussed achievements made thus far by this most important financial and institutional mechanism of the European Commission.

Chairwoman Krišto briefed the Summit on achievements of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially concerning recent adoption of the Draft Reform Agenda to enable Bosnia and Herzegovina to access funds within this financial instrument.

Along with all relevant issues under the Growth Plan four pillars, Chairwoman Krišto turned to a current issue of professional drivers and waiting at borders. Chairwoman Krršto underlined that a functional solution should be founded on a real time of entry and exit, to assist smooth and stable international road transport. A high level of understanding has been already reached on the urgency of the issue solving.

“It is of an extreme importance to continue to work diligently and together and make further steps forward necessary for harmonisation with all laws and norms of the EU”, with this message Chairwoman Krišto concluded her address.(end)
