Chairwoman Krišto with Ambassador of Japan Aiki

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto was visited by Ambassador of Japan in Bosnia and Herzegovina H.E.Toshihiro Aiki, to whom she handed over a letter of greeting to Prime Minister of Japan H.E. Sanae Takaichi.

This significant anniversary represents a relevant turning point in friendly and partnership relations between the two states, founded on mutual respect, confidence and cooperation. Chairwoman Krišto expressed her sincere thankfulness to the Government of Japan for continuous support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in development, agriculture, infrastructure, education and institutional strengthening.

Both sides confirmed readiness for deepening political dialogue, economic cooperation and joint projects to give additional boost to friendship between Japan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. (end)
