The Council of Ministers of B-H adopted Information and accepted a proposal by the State Coordinator for Distribution of IPA 2011 Allocated Funds – component for Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Funds in amount of EUR 8.2, unallocated after the adoption of the revised Proposal 2011 IPA State programme, will be used in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as follows: EUR 2 million will be used for demining activities,; EUR 1.2 million will be used as a project preparation instrument – general technical assistance; EUR 5 million will be earmarked to project implementation support in B-H within the Regional Programme for Permanent Solution to Issues for Refugees and Displaced Persons (Sarajevo Declaration). The implementation of these funds will be made through multi-beneficiary IPA Programme by way of special allocation intended exclusively for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to EUR 96 million, projects directly programmed by the EC will be implemented for all countries of eth region. It is about projects of support to nuclear safety, participation in the Tempus Programme and support to civil society.

In this way, total EUR 102,680,000 projected for Bosnia and Herzegovina within 2011 IPA – Component I, will be fully implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Council of Ministers of B-H took this decision after the Entity Governments reached an agreement on IPA Assistance Package for 2011.
