MSC Second Day: Chairwoman Krišto with Rubio, Von der Leyen and Other Officials

The second day of the Munich Security Conference started with a panel titled “The US in the World: How Does the US Administration View the State of International Order”, attended by Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto took part. The panel was addressed by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who referred to current global challenges and the role of the United States of America in preserving security and fortifying alliances.

The Conference featured President of the European Commission Ursula Von der Leyen, who pointed at a need for stronger European cooperation, strengthening of strategic resilience, and deepening of cooperation of the European Union with its allies.

Following a recent Davis meeting, Chairwoman Krišto met, at the Conference margins, with US Secretary of State Rubio, where they had a brief exchange on global challenges and security architecture, especially in the context of the South-East Europe, where Bosnia and Herzegovina has inevitable geopolitical role.

Chairwoman Krišto met with President of the European Commission Von der Leyen and President of the European Parliament Robert Metsola, with whom she discussed topical issues on the EU road  and the importance of continued processes to follow a cross-government conference. (end)
