Hollande Invites Zvizdić to Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit in Paris

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received in Sarajevo Ambassador of the Republic of France in BIH Claire Bodonyi, who conveyed him an invitation of French President Francois Hollande to the Western Balkans Leaders’ Summit in Paris, on July 4, 2016. 

Ambassador Bodonyi said the Summit will be a follow-up of the Berlin and Vienna meetings, and among key topics she expects to be transport and energy connectedness, as a precondition for the European integrations.

They discussed the importance of environmental protection, on which occasion Ambassador Bodionyi invited Chairman Zvizdić to a ceremony of signing of a Paris Agreement on Climate, to take place in the UN HQ in New York, on April 22, this year.

Chairman ZVizdič and Ambassador Bodony discussed the importance of removal of obstacles for taking national strategies for different infrastructure projects. They concluded that national strategy adoption is  precondition for use of the IPA funds, pointing that additional efforts will be needed in order to realise the development of such strategic documents.
