Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received, in Sarajevo today, Head of the World Bank Office in BIH Anabela Abreu, whom he informed of the priorities of the new Council of Ministers of BIH. 

Chairman Bevanda said that his priorities are the acceleration of the Euro-Atlantic processes of Bosnia and Herzegovina and economic revitalisation. As first technical steps along this process, he underlined an early drafting of the 2012-2013 Global Fiscal Framework and 2012 Budget.

Head of WB Office in BIH Abreu congratulated to the Chairman for his appointment, and wished him success in his work. She expressed a readiness of the World Bank to continue supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina, underlining that the World Bank expects a soon continuation of the reform processes at all level of authority in BIH.

They agreed that the continuation of reform processes is an important factor for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s progressing towards Euro-Atlantic integrations and an important indicator of its credibility before international partners and institutions.

Chairman Bevanda vowed a determination of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the continuation of cooperation with the Wold Ban, based on partnership, and frank relations.
