Meeting Of Chairman of Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda with EU Special Representative Peter Sorensen

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda met in Sarajevo today with Head of EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in BIH Peter Sorensen, who congratulated Chairman Bevanda for appointment at his current post. 

Chairman Bevanda thanked for congratulations and expressed his conviction that the new Council of Ministers of BIH will, while enjoying a full support and partnership from the Delegation of European Union, soon make a progress in fulfilment of its EU programme.

Expressing his hope that year 2012 will be the year of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the interlocutors stressed a need for enactment of legislation on sustainable state aid and census of people in BIH and for implementation of the ECHR „Sjedić & Finci“ award. Also, it was concluded that the of IPA funds state coordination process needs to be improved.
