Krišto at Solemn Session of Livno City Council

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjan Krišto attended a solemn session of the City Council of Livno, held on the occasion of Livno Town Day, and sent warm congratulations to the mayor and all citizens of Livno.

In her address, Chairwoman Krišto reminded at a rich historic and cultural heritage of Livno and importance of its cherishing for future generations. She emphasised that Livno keeps tis past and tradition with pride, as witnessed by events such as events like recent promotion of a book by author Damir Tadić, devoted to 100th anniversary oof monument to King Tomislav.

She expressed her special thanks towards Croat defenders and their families, noting their immeasurable contribution to defence and creation of freedom and preserving of Croatian people in this area.

Turning to economic and infrastructure development of Livno, Chairwoman Krišto noted visible breakthroughs in development pf entrepreneurial zones, strengthening of touristic potentials and implementation of numerous projects in sports, culture, communal infrastructure, including preschool and school education.

“Numerous projects targeting lifting-up quality of life of every man prove of Livno development. For implementation o such projects it is necessary to cooperate continuously with support for joint action by all-level authorities”, Chairwoman Krišto concluded.

She pointed out the importance of support from both Entity and State level, including continuous support from the Government of the Republic of Croatia, led by Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, reflected in funding numerous projects relevant for local community, as well as in a strong support to realisation of a full constitutional equality of Croatian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Speaking about European future of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chairwoman Krišto underlined that the European road and reform processes are not the purpose for themselves, but they should bring concrete results and better quality of live to every man an every local community.

She reminded at implemented breakthroughs of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European road, including gaining the candidate status and opening of accession negotiations, highlighting that continuation of the reform processes is the joint responsibility of all levels of authority.

Finally, she expressed her confidence that Livno, relaying on tis people, rich heritage and development potentials, will continue to progress and will jointly build better, more stable and more prosperous future.

Chairwoman Krišto sent sincere regards one again to all Livno citizens.
