Chairwoman Krišto Opens 27th International Economic Fair in Mostar

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Borjana Krišto opened today the 27th International Economic Fair in Mostar.
In her address, Chairwoman Krišto underlined that thanks to the fair, as one of the most important regional economic events, Mostar has become a hub of new business ideas, She stressed that the fair is a generator of business opportunities, proof of domestic competitiveness and readiness for participation at other countries’ markets, which opens the space for our people to place their knowledge to new markets.
“This way we send a message that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country full of natural resources, stable business environment and a beneficial investment destination. Our potentials, both natural and human, are the chance to get positioned at regional, European and global markets.”, Chairwoman Krišto said.
Chairwoman Krišto said that turbulences at global markets and inflation pressures are the current reality, but also they may be an opportunity for consolidation, calling on cooperation of all business and political stakeholders.
“On behalf of the Council of Ministers of BIH, I can point out that we will, within our responsibilities, do our utmost to contribute to stabilisation of situation. The best way to do so is the institutional accountability and synergy with real sector to mitigate negative reflex to our economy”, Chairwoman Krištšto said.
She emphasised her thankfulness to President of Govemrnt of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković for strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on both economic and political plan.
She touched upon awareness of complexity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that the imperative for improvement in Bosnia and Herzegovina is to secure equality of three constitutive people.
“It is a task for all political representatives in BIH, in the interest of survival, security and European future of BIH, to reach a desired level of democracy in Bosnia and Herzegovina so that the Croat constitutive people has its right to election of their own representatives in government institutions, set forth by the Constitution for protection of collective rights. It is a precondition for creation of better life for everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, Chairwoman Krišto said.
At the end of her address, Chairwoman Krišto wished successful days of the 27th International Economic Fair in Mostar. (end)
