Chairwoman Krišto in Banja Luka: Joint Visit with President of Government of Republic of Croatia to Banja Luka Diocese

Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto visited Banja Luka where she had a series of meetings within the Banja Luka Diocese.
During the visit, Chairwoman Kriššto, together with president of Government of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković and Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of BIH House of People Dragan Čović, accompanied by a delegation of all-level BIH officials visited monastery Marija Zvijezda, where she met with Banja Luka Bishop Mns. Željko Majić. In hospitable ambience, a strong messages of togetherness and mutual support were sent from this site of rich spiritual and cultural tradition.
Following the meeting in the monastery, Chairwoman Kršto attended a solemn laying of corner stone for construction of a cultural-pastoral student centre Petrićevac. On that occasion, Chairwoman Krišto stressed that the project represents a significant contribution to strengthening of spiritual, educational and cultural life in Banja Luka, and tightens additionally links of Croatian people in the area.
The visit to Banja Luka was finalised by a Christmas reception hosted by Vice-President of Republika Srpska Davor Pranjić, gathering numerous invitees from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia. (end)
