Chairman of Council of Ministers Talks with President of Chambers and Stock Exchanges Association and Turkish Businessmen

Chairman Špirić said that there is a plenty of room for development of economic cooperation between B-H and Turkey.
Špirić concluded that while there is a lot of talk on cooperation, the fact remains that Turkey is only the 9th ranked investor to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Špirić requested the Association President to encourage Turkish investors to invest to B-H, saying that B-H authorities do all they can to remove administrative barriers to investments.
Hisarchicogu pointed pout that the main goal of the Association is to enhance the scope of economic activities between B-H and Turkey, because the present cooperation is below its potentials level.
He informed Špirić on the plans for organisation of economic summit to take place on December 17-19, underlining the relevance of B-H participation.
Chairman Špirić confirmed the participation of B-H delegation at the summit, saying that B-H attaches the great importance to this event. He expressed the commitment for intensifying contacts between B-H and international economic entities.
Opportunities for investment to resources in B-H were discussed at the meeting the Chairman of the Council of Ministers held with Maramar Group President Akan Suver and eminent Turkish businessmen.
Chairman Špirić invited Turkish businessmen to invest to B-H, reminding of B-H potentials in energy sector, transport infrastructure, tourism and other sectors.
Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H also attended the opening of the World Bank plenary session.
