Chairman of Council of Ministers Receives EC Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr. Nikola Špirić received today Deputy Director of European Commission General Directorate for Justice, Freedom and Security Jean-Luis de Brover and his assistants. 

Chairman Špirić informed the representatives of the European Commission that at today’s session the Council of Ministers determined the Bill on Amendments and Supplements of B-H Criminal Code, the adoption of which will represent the fulfilment of four requirements for EU visa regime liberalisation.The Chairman of the Council of Ministers pointed out the importance of visa regime liberalisation for B-H citizens, assessing that a decision on non-visa regime would considerably contribute to the creation of positive political atmosphere in B-H.

 

We need to be prepared for expert missions’ review to take place in coming weeks, and that review will be a definite benchmark for the European Commission Report and resultant date when citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina will start to enjoy non-visa regime, Špirić stated.
