Chairman of Council of Ministers of B-H Receives ESI Representatives

Chairman of the Council of Ministers Dr Nikola Špirić received representatives of the European Stability Initiative (ESI). 

At the meeting they briefly looked at the current status and progress made to date at fulfilment of the remaining requirements from the Road Map for EU visa liberalisation for B-H citizens.

 

ESI representatives concluded that more energetic measures have been taken over the past two months and expressed their conviction that it is possible for B-H to achieve quick progress in order to enable the European Commission propose a visa regime lifting in relatively short period of time.

 

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H expressed his expectation that competent municipal, cantonal, entity and state level bodies would finalise their activities by the end of this September.

 

During the meeting, Špirić stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina needs a new positive momentum and that this country’s success must be founded on the internal dialogue and compromise.
