Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr. Nikola Špirić received today in a farewell visit UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Representative Christine McNab. Chairman Špirić thanked to McNab for her professional and personal engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, wishing her a lot of success in her future assignments.

Chairman Špirić assessed that a progress that has been achieved in B-H is also due to UN projects, but that many challenges stand before B-H in its European Integrations process.

McNab congratulated for the UN Security Council decision to choose Bosnia and Herzegovina as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.

Chairman Špirić expressed his hope that B-H will use this chance and prove itself as a credible partner to the international community.

Špirić stressed his conviction that B-H membership in the UN Security Council will bring about a new dose of seriousness to B-H foreign policy implementation.

At the meeting they also discussed a need for early development and adoption of revised strategy for the implementation of the Dayton Agreement Annex 7.

Chairman Špirić said that under the Strategy, all rights stemming from Annex 7 of the Dayton Agreement, such as right to return, right to choose place of living, either stay or right to compensation and rightful reparation, should be accepted.

At the end of the meeting, McNab thanked to Chairman Špirić for correct and successful cooperation.
