Špirić highlighted a need for improved project effectiveness.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers also asked for B-H to remain within the IDA-terms lending framework.

Špirić emphasised that B-H faces significant challenges, and mentioned specifically the social sector reform.

The Vice-President of the World Bank expressed his concern over the decision of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FB-H to accept requests vowed at the war veteran protests in Sarajevo.

Chairman Špirić said B-H authorities must comply with their commitments stemming from the Letter of Intent on the Conclusion of the Stand-By Arrangement with the IMF, aimed at maintaining the financial system stability.
