Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B-H Dr Nikola Špirić talked in Budapest with Prime Minister of Republic of Hungary Gordon Bajnai. Špirić informed Bajnai of the current political situation in B-H, with a special emphasis on challenges faced by B-H in its European Integrations process.

The chairman of the Council of Ministers assessed the internal dialogue of legitimate political representatives is the only way of further progress of B-H.

Špirić pointed at the importance of soon visa regime liberalisation, which would bring about a new optimism in B-H. He asked for Hungarian support and, in that regard, presented the performance made to date on the fulfilment of Road Map requirements.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers expressed the interest in B-H for promotion of trade exchange and decrease of B-H deficit, including also though improved Hungarian investments.

The relations between the two countries were assessed as good and without outstanding issues, while high and highest level bilateral contacts have been of a considerable intensity for several years now.

Prime Minister Bajnai confirmed Hungarian support to B-H on its EU way, saying that this was also among the reasons for the organisation of today’s Conference in Budapest titled “B-H towards Stabilisation, Prosperity and European Integrations”.
