Strong Turkish Support to Bosnia and Herzegovina Conformed

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met at the margins of the Sarajevo Business Forum 2016 - Prospects China + 16, with Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Memhemt Simsek. 

They discussed the continuation of cooperation fo BIH and the republic of Turkey in the area of political and economic relations and on a possibility to enhancement of trade exchange between the two states.

Deputy Prime Minister Simsek congratulated to Chairman Zvizidić to an excellent organisation of the Business Forum China + 16, saying that the Republic of Turkey strongly supports Bosnia and Herzegovina and attaches considerable attention t its relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He stressed that Turkey remains resolute to continue buying meat from BIH and that there is a space for an  extension of foreign trade exchange.

Chairman Zvizdić and Deputy Turkish Prime Minister Simsek also touched upon BIH’s road towards the European Union. They agreed that approximating to the European family, Bosnia and Herzegovina an important economic space in regional terms, which would result in shrinking investment risks in BIH.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović.
