Upon Chairman Bevanda's Request Serbia Offers Assistance in Aerial Spraying

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda is in a constant phone communication with Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić since yesterday, discussing the cooperation and coordination of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia in an action of aerial spraying of the flood affected areas in order to prevent spreading of mosquitos, most often carriers of contagious diseases. Chairman Bevanda asked form Prime Minister Vučić Serbia's assistance in urgent solving of the problem. 

Prime Minister Vučić informed Chairman Bevanda that Serbia is in disposal of several aircraft equipped with modern aerial spraying installations, micronairs AU 5000. He expressed his understanding of the problem faced by BIH, stressing that Serbia will gladly assist Bosnia and Herzegovina to solve the problem as urgent as possible.

Expert teams currently assess the size of areas in need for aerial spraying, and the aerial spraying operation is expected to start in three to five days.
