Zvizdić – Alzanoon: To Find Modalities of Political, Economic and Cultural Linking

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received in Sarajevo President of the Palestinian National Council Saleem Alzanoon, with whom he discussed the current political situation in BIH and Palestine. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed President Alzanoon of the Council of Ministers priorities for the period to come. He stressed that reforms plan has been adopted rightly at the Council of Ministers session, to be realised within next 12 months, and which is expected to accelerate the European integrations process of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Chairman said that he follows developments in Palestine with a great attention, and added that people in Sarajevo and in BIH understand the people of Palestine and supports their just aims. He underlined that the people of Palestine has a genuine friend in BIH, and that modalities of political, economic and cultural linking of our peoples should be sought for.

President Alzanoon thanked to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their support and expressed his hope that BIH will remain standing close to the people of Palestine. He said that Palestinians only want to realise their rights in a peaceful way and based on international agreements, primarily the Oslo Agreement of 1993 and UNSC resolution 242.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the State of Palestine in BIH Rezeq N.M. Namoora.
