Noting that the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement of BIH with the European Union will take effect on June 1, Zvizdić stressed that it is important that Bulgaria, as the EU member, should assist Bosnia and Herzegovina to use a positive political momentum and make key breakthrough in the European integrations process.

The Chairman of the Council of Ministers informed the Bulgarian President of priorities of the Council of Ministers of BIH and on outcome of six Western Balkans Prime Ministers meeting of April 21, in Brussels, where a joint declaration was adopted on core infrastructural network and priority projects.

The President of Bulgaria emphasised that his country, as a genuine friend, will unreservedly assist Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to the EU. He also pointed at a necessity of linking  Balkan countries, primarily though infrastructure and energy projects, all under the European integration processes.

The meeting discussed possibility for Bosnia and Herzegovina to export meat in Turkey, through Bulgaria, until conditions set by the EU are met for export of milk and other products of animal origin.

Chairman Zvizdić said that the activation of a Membership Action Plan for NATO would have a great significance for Bosnia and Herzegovina,  on which a general consensus exists in the Council of Ministers do BIH.
