Zvizdić and Turkish Ambassador Erginay in Meeting: BIH Supports Turkey in Fight against Terrorism

On the occasion of terrorist attacks, which took place yesterday evening at the Istanbul Airport Kemal Ataturk and in which at least 40 persons were killed and more than 150 wounded, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH Chihad Erginay. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BIH and all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina condemn most sharply this terrorist attack and that they are together with the Turkish people in these difficult moments. Ambassador Erginay thanked to Chairman Zvizdić, the Council of Ministers of BIH and citizens for their messages of solidarity having been arriving from yesterday evening, stressing that it is the best way of countering terrorism. Chairman Zvizdić said the Council of Ministers of BIH will support and assist to the Government of the Republic of Turkey in countering terrorism, which represents a threat to global peace.

“We will work on supressing all forms of terrorism and will develop strategies on help us in this effort. We need to be united in order to defeat those who do not what peace and who stand on that way”, , Chairman Zvizdić said during the meeting.

Chairman Zvizdić asked Ambassador Erginay to convey, on behalf of the Council of Ministers of BIH, and his own, expressions of sincere condolences to families of the victims, and wishes for a quick recovery of the wounded.
