Zvizdić-Čeferin: Full CoM Support to FSBIH and UEF Activities

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received in Sarajevo UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin. 

They discussed the prospects of football development in BIH and highlighted the importance of sports in general, especially football in development of the youth. The agreed the future development and promotion of football in BIH necessitates a high quality sports infrastructure.

President Čeferin commended the work of the Football Federation of BIH, stressing that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a respectable national football selection. He said that the basic problem is with the infrastructure, and expressed the readiness for UEFA assistance and support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the promotion and development of football, as well as in infrastructure development.  He emphasised a need for greater inclusion of children and youth in training and sport education.

Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers of BIH will give tis full support to the activities the Football Federation of BIH implements together with UEFA.

The meeting was attended by Director of UEFA-affiliate National Federations Zoran Laković and president of the Football Federation of BIH Elvedin Begić.
