Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met in London with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti, They discussed the European road of Bosnia and Herzegovina following tis submission of the EU membership application, Chairman Zvizdić informed President Chakrabarti of both economic and political developments in BIH and on the level of fulfilment of the Economic Reform Agenda goals. 

President Chakrabarti said BIH is a serious candidate for hosting the Annual EBRD Conference in Sarajevo in 2019, of which the Board of Governor will take decision in mid-March this year. Chairman Zvizdić thanked for the initiative, saying that it would be helpful for the promotion of the state and for both regional and BIH projects presentation.

Chairman Zvizdić expressed his hope that the EBRD policy will fond the Corridor V c a priority  and that EBRD commercial resources will be accessible to BIH public companies, especially in the transport infrastructure construction sector. He said that BIH is expected to have constructed the majority of tis infrastructure in the next four years and thereby improve comprehensive economic strategy. He stressed the overall relevance of all segments  in the economy sector. He also said that BIH expects high volume of funds for infrastructure projects and that transfer of positive know-how and experiences are extremely important for BIH, which itself expects such type of assistance.

President Chakrabarti said the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development wants to continue supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina and that he is hopeful about new investments.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister for Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BIH Mirko Šarović and Manager of the Public Company Motorways of Federation of BIH Jasnim Bučo.
