Zvizdić – Erdogan: BIH – Turkey Relations Good and Friendly

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met today in Sarajevo with President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and expressed his pleasure for his visit to BIH. 

Noting good and friendly relations of Turkey and BIH, he informed him of priority programmatic measures and goals of the Council of Ministers. He stressed that positive processed have been launched on the way to the European Union, covering the European way, economic reforms, rule of law and effective fight against corruption, crime and terrorism, as key priorities of the Council of Ministers work.

President Erdogan congratulated to Chairman Zvizdić for is appointment, and wished him success in his work. He said that his delegation includes a considerable number of Ministers of prominent businessmen ready to cooperate, make contacts and invest in BIH.

Chairman Zvizdić expressed his pleasure for soon taking effect of a Stabilisation and Accession Agreement to open a new chapter for BIH and promote business environment for foreign direct investments. He underlined that the Council of Ministers is already active on this assignment.

The meeting with the Turkish President was attended by Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Šarović.
