Zvizdić: Facing Justice and Truth by Every Individual as Condition for Co-Existence in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received representatives of the Association “Mothers of Srebrenica and Žepa” and Association of Genocide Victims and Witnesses Munira Subašić and Murat Tahirović. 

The reason for today’s meeting is the departure of the victims representatives to Den Hague for attending the pronouncement of the verdict to Radovan Karadžić, scheduled for March 24, 2016.

Chairman Zvizidć said this pronouncement is extremely important for the future of co-existence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasised the importance of facing truth and justice by each and every individual.

President of the Association “Mothers of Srebrenica” Munira Subašić said representatives of 22 NGOs from BIH will go to Den Hague. She expressed her hope that the Hague Tribunal will make a just decision, which will satisfy genocide victims and witnesses.

Chairman Zvizdić said that support and assistance are necessary to complement efforts of these associations in order to ascertain as early as possible the final truth about the fate of those still unaccounted.
