Zvizdić – Goldstein: Encouraging Progress in Implementation of Reform Agenda Goals

At today's meeting with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić, Director of the World Bank for South-East Europe Ellen Goldstein congratulated to BIH for submission of an application for membership in the European Union. 

On that occasion, she expressed her satisfaction with the progress in implementation of agreed-to goals under the Reform Agenda, for which she said are encouraging.

The meeting discussed the projects the Word Bank intends to carry out in the following five years, with a special focus on strengthening of MSEs, health sector reform from the aspect of BIH competences, and touched upon the current activities from the World Bank programme.

Chairman Zvizidć said that reforms to which the BIH authorities committed are the priority and that in the coming period of time activities on their realisation should be continued. He thanked to the World Bank for the support this organisation extends to BIH.

The meeting was attended by Country Director of the World Bank Tatiana Proskuryakova.
