Zvizdić-Madras: Support to BIH on Its European Road

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Sarajevo with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Dimitrios Madras on bilateral relations of the two countries. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that the political relations are good and on an up-ward trend, while there is a plenty of room for enhancement of the economic cooperation. He thanked for the principles and friendly assistance of Greece to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Deputy Minister Madras said that additional efforts are required for further contractual regulation of the bilateral relations, especially in the area of tourism. He said it would be of a mutual interest to work on connectedness, specifically the construction of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway

Chairman Zvizidć informed Deputy Minister Madras of the current political situation in BIH, with a focus on accelerated reform activities and improvement of the economic situation in BIH, as well as on the EU membership as the ultimate goal. He emphasised that the Council of Ministers of BIH reform commitment was translated into the Reform Agenda strategic document, adding that the Council of Ministers of BIH has realised, in a short time, more than 50 per cent of the obligations from its competence. He said that the reform measures have already started to show results, and invited Greek businessmen to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
