Zvizdić – Ogawa – Maurer Meeting: to Continue and Promote Good Cooperation

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received in separate introductory visits Ambassador of Japan in BIH Kazuya Ogawa and Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation in BIH Heinrich Maurer, with whom he discussed bilateral cooperation, and econ0mic and political developments in BIH.

The meetings assessed that bilateral relations of BIH with Japan and Switzerland are good but that their continuation and promotion is needed.

Chairman Zvizdić informed the Ambassadors of the  priorities of the Council of Ministers, stressing that the European road of BIH has no alternative.

In that context, they discussed the Reform Agenda, targeting improvement of business climate in BIH and economic and social status of BIH citizens.

Chairman Zvizdić informed the Ambassadors of the results of the Summit of the Western Balkans Countries, held in end August in Vienna.

The meetings also touched upon the topical refugee crisis, and Chairman Zvizdić said that the Council of Ministers monitors the situation in order to have prepared reaction in cases of major refugee influx form the Middle East to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
