Zvizdić - Oktay: To Promote and Intensify Good Relations

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met in Sarajevo with Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay, whom he briefed of the economic and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, informing him of the key foreign policy priorities of BIH. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that Turkey is one of the most important foreign trade partners, noting the importance of an initiative for construction of road infrastructure Sarajevo – Belgrade, especially in the context of economic and touristic cooperation of the whole region. He said that meat export form BIH to Turkey is of an extreme importance for domestic economy, adding his hopes that the economic cooperation between the two countries would intensify in the future period of time.

Vice President Oktay said Turkey is a sincere friend to Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it will continue to support and encourage the European and NATO road of BIH.

Chairman Zvizdić and Vice President Oktay concluded that th4e bilateral relations between BIH and Turkey and good that that they need to be advanced and intensified in time to come.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in BIH Haldun Koc.
