Zvizdić Talks with Ambassador of Kingdom of Sweden

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić held a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina Anders Hagelberg. 

They discussed the topical political and economic developments in the state, with a special focus on reform processed and fulfilment of conditions for accession to the European Union and NATO Alliance.

Chairman Zvizdić thanked to citizens and Government of the Kingdom of Sweden for sizable support to Bosnia and Herzegovina citizens during the time of aggression and in the follow-up period of time. He informed Ambassador Hagelberg in detail about the aims of the Council of Ministers of BIH and on the level of preparedness of answers to the Questionnaire Bosnia and Herzegovina received from the European Commission, They highlighted he importance of further activities of BIH towards the EU integrations, as well as the interest for continued cooperation of the two states.

Chairman Zvizdić and Ambassador Hergelberg also discussed the importance of environmental protection, and agreed that air pollution is one of the major problems requiring special attention. They agreed that more should be done in that segment so that citizens might be protected and get better informed on the pollution, in compliance to the European standards. They both expressed their readiness to continue cooperation and join their efforts towards finding solutions to secure sustainable environmental protection in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
