Zvizdić with German Bundestag Group of Friendship Delegation

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić talked in Sarajevo with a delegation f the German Bundestag Group of Friendship for Bosnia and Herzegovina, and thanked for the German support to date on BIH’s Euro-Atlantic road. 

Chairman Zvizdić said that a decisive support and active engagement of FR Germany in the process of BIH approximation to the European Union was demonstrated also through a German-British initiative, launched by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The interlocutors discussed the current economic and political developments in BIH. Chairman Zvizdić pointed out that BIH finds it very important to count on further support of the FR Germany in the implementation of required social and economic reforms, in line with both the Reform Agenda and continuation on the European road of BIH. He said that perspective of the EU membership continues to be a driving force for affirmative democratic, political, economic and social changes within BIH.

Chairman Zvizdić expressed his satisfaction also with a good economic cooperation, and emphasised that BIH has a large interest for fostering economic ties with the FR Germany, which is one of the most important foreign trade partners to BIH.

The delegation of the Group of Friendship of German Bundestag was led by Marieluise Beck, Chair f the Parliamentarian Group.
