Zvizdić with Istanbul Mayor

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić met in Istanbul with Mayor of Istanbul Mevlut Uysal. 

Chairman Zvizdić congratulated to Mayor Uysal for the construction of the biggest airport in the world and third biggest airport in Istanbul, saying that it was a great honour to witness such historic event. He said that the Republic of Turkey and City of Istanbul yesterday sent a message of togetherness, persistence, friendship and cooperation, which brings back hope to people in the better and more prosperous future of the entire world.

They discussed possibilities of cooperation of Istanbul and cities in BIH in the areas of economy, entrepreneurship, culture and education. Chairmar Zvizidć said that Sarajevoand Istanbul are connected by honest and friendly relations and that all cities in BIH may have a genuine friend in Istanbul.

During their talks, Chairman Zvizdić and Mayor Uysal assessed that their cooperation is on na up-ward trend, based on mutual interests. They agreed about the importance of cooperation between Istanbul and cities in BIH, since it opens the door for connection of businessmen, concluding that it is necessary to strengthen and intensify future cooperation between chambers of commerce.

The meeting was attended by BIH Ambassador in the Republic of Turkey Bakir Sadović and Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka.
