Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić received Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State for European and Euro-Asian Affairs Office Hoyt Yee and US Ambassador in BIH Maureen Cormmack. 

Chairman Zvizdić informed the visitor of the current economic and political developments in BIH, saying that the aims of the Council of Ministers of BIH are economic development, rule of law and stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasised the importance of European and ANTO road and reiterated that the adopted reform Agenda was a precondition to having a stable and functional country, which is relevant for BIH on tis way to the European Union.

Deputy Assistant US Secretary of State Hoyt Yee commended notable progress made by the Council of Ministers in a very short time period of time. He said that the USA support the reform efforts in BIH, stressing that the chance the EU offered to BIH by activation of the Stabilisation and Accession Agreement should be used. He commended an intensive cooperation with the countries of the region and welcomed the adoption of the reform Agenda and Law on labour in the federation of BIH, saying that it would enable strengthening of economy, dynamic labour market and would open the door for new grants and loans.

Chairman Zvizdić said that MAP activation is one among key priorities, because it means internal and foreign stability of BIH, which is an important precondition for foreign investments inflow.
