Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić and Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia Zoran Zaev, as well as members of the Council of Ministers of BIH delegation, namely Foreign Minister Igor Crnadak, Justice Minister Josip Grubeša, Minister of Civil Affairs Adil Osmanović, Minister of Communications and Transport Ismir Jusko and BIH Ambassador in the Republic Macedonia Lepa Babić joined today a March of Life, in memory of Jews deported from Macedonia during WWII. 

At the Monument “7.144 Macedonian Jews” near the Tobacco Factory in Skopje, the site from where the Macedonian Jews were deported, Chairman Zvizdić and Prime Minister Zaev were joined by Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov. On that occasion, the Prime Ministers laid flowers on the Monument to the Holocaust victims.

March 11, 2018 is the 75th anniversary of deportation of Jews from Macedonia to the death camp Treblinka in Poland. Total 7.144 Jews from Skopje, Bitolj and Štip, or about 98% of Jewish citizens of Macedonia at that time were sent to the road never to return from.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Dr Denis Zvizdić will lead the BIH Delegation to a commemorative session of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, to be held today in Skopje, on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of deportation of Macedonian Jews.
