Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda received today in separate meetings Ambassadors of the Republic of Italy Riamond de Cardona, Republic of Turkey Ahment Yildiz and Republic of Serbia Ninoslav D. Stojadinović, with whom he discussed improvement of cooperation and priorities of the new Council of Ministers of BIH. 

Ambassador De Cordona handed over written congratulations to Chairman Bevanda sent by Prime Minister of the Republic of Italy Mario Monti, underlining that the Republic of Italy welcomes priorities of Chairman Bevanda, referred to in the elaboration delivered on the occasion of his appointment as Chairman, and reminded that Italy stands unreservedly by Bosnia and Herzegovina on its way to the EU and NATO.

The interlocutors assessed that relations between the two countries are good and friendly and agreed that economic cooperation, especially in energy sector, should be further promoted.

According to Chairman Bevanda, the priorities of the Council of Ministers of BIH are the EU and NATO, with an intensifying of economic relations within the region and creation of environment for new investments which would create new jobs in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Yildiz stressed readiness of the Republic of Turkey, which acts as a coordinator of NATO members in Bosnia and Herzegovina, to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina on tis Euro-Atlantic way.

Ambassador Yildiz conveyed congratulations of Turkish prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Chairman Bevanda and the new Council of Ministers for appointment.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BIH Vjekoslav Bevanda and Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in BIH Dr. Ninoslav D. Stojadinović, who was in an introductory visit to the Chairman, exchanged views of the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors concluded that the relations between the two countries are good and that the bilateral cooperation takes an upward trend.

Chairman Bevanda said that an additional effort needs to be taken in order to intensify economic relations and improve regional cooperation as a precondition for successful European integrations of countries of the region.
